PrintSpace 3D Altair overview
The PrintSpace 3D Altair is a delta desktop 3D printer made by PrintSpace 3D, a manufacturer based in Idaho, USA.
The PrintSpace 3D Altair has a Delta architecture which allows the maintenance and buying costs to stay low thanks to the high level of standardization of the different components. It is however a type of 3D printer which is more difficult to operate compared to standard cartesian machines.
The PrintSpace Altair 3D printer is equipped with a PrintSpace 3D NOVA all-metal hot end and removable instant-on heated bed (ABS not recommended though). With a build volume up to 200 mm – 8″ diameter and a vertical print capacity of 254 mm – 10″, the Altair can handle large projects with ease. The PrintSpace 3D Altair features the CarbonGlide™ technology, which allows it to complete larger prints faster, quieter, and with more accuracy. This 3D printer is also light with only 5.4 kg -12 lbs, and easy to move around.
The PrintSpace 3D Altair comes with the Simplify 3D software, a spool holder, tweezers (for cleaning nozzle), and a part removal tool for removing finished printed objects from the bed.
