Solidscape Max² review

The Solidscape Max² is a professional 3D printer made by Solidscape, a manufacturer based in the US. Solidscape is now a brand of the Stratasys Company.

Solidscape 3D printers are designed to produce wax-like patterns for lost-wax casting/investment casting and mold making applications. The Solidscape Max² combines Drop-On-Demand (DoD) thermoplastic ink-jetting technology and high-precision milling of each layer for 3D printing parts.

The Solidscape 3Z Max² is the top-range 3D printer of the Solidscape 3Z series. The 3Z Pro is 40% faster than the 3Z Studio. The fastest machine of the line is the 3Z Max² which is 30 to 50% faster than the 3Z Pro.

The Solidscape 3D printers use Solidscape’s proprietary graphical front-end software, 3Z Works.
