The DAVID SLS-3 scanner uses the Structured Light 3D scanning technology, which allows to generate fast colored 3D scans. The DAVID SLS-3 is equipped with a HD Video projector with a large focus range and stable glass calibration panels. The 3D scans can be exported into common 3D file formats (OBJ, STL, PLY) and processed in other applications such as rapid prototyping/3D printing, inspection, reverse engineering, archeology/cultural heritage, works of art, computer animations/CGI, or video games. Objects 3D scan size is 60-500 mm. The 3D scanner is delivered with the DAVID-4 software suite. In option the DAVID SLS-3 can work with the DAVID TT-1 Turntable for faster 360° 3D scans. The DAVID Structured Light Scanner SLS-3 is the new version of the famous DAVID Structured Light Scanner, a very good option for professional 3D scanning at an affordable price. The SLS-3 is twice faster (runs at 50 frames per second) and its resolution better (2.3 million dots per scan against 1.2 million dots per scan). However for 3D printing processes, the SLS-2 should offer sufficient performance. The David SLS-3 is available on Amazon.
