The Sensics zSight 1920 is a professional tethered VR headset made by Sensics, a manufacturer based in Maryland in the US. Sensics mainly targets professionals with its range of virtual reality headsets.
The zSight 1920 features two OLED displays of 1920 x 1080 pixels each. There are two versions of this HMD: the zSight 1920, with a diagonal FOV (field of view) of 72°, and the zSight 1920-100 with a 100° diagonal FOV.
This headset features 3DoF tracking (360° rotation). There is an optional battery for extended use.
zSight 1920 main features
- Adjustable headset: the display features an IPD adjustment, a highly adjustable strap, and the user can also keep their eyeglasses. It is lightweight (350 g).
- Built-in headphones and microphone: for a more immersive user experience.
- OSVR content platform: users may access many VR applications via OSVR, an open-source content platform.
- Visor: it is possible to flip the visor to exit or enter the augmented world in a second.
