Aspect Rafael 550 overview
The Aspect Rafael 550 is an industrial 3D printer made by Aspect, a manufacturer based in Japan.
The Aspect Rafael 550 was designed in collaboration with Ricoh. It is also available in two smaller versions, the Aspect Rafael 300 and the Aspect Rafael 150.
The Aspect Rafael 550 uses the Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printing technology. The SLS 3D printing process consists in heating a powdered material with a laser for sintering. The Ricoh RICOH AM S5500P uses polymer powder materials, such as PA211, PA6 or PA12 (Polyamide: Nylon) and PP3 (Polypropylene: Polymer powder that is light, durable, and flexible).
