Large format 3D printing
Large-format 3D printers are systems with larger-than-average build areas that allow users to fabricate large individual objects (furniture, vehicle sections, statues, etc.) or several objects at a time, typically for batch production.
Although not technically confined to any particular 3D printing technology, most large-format printers on the market are extrusion-type FFF systems.
Some large-format printers are similar in appearance and function to normal FFF machines, while others have gantries, open build envelopes, robotic arms, or other features that increase the size of the printable area.
