Mcor ARKe overview
The Mcor ARKe is a full-color desktop 3D printer made by Mcor, a manufacturer from Ireland.
The ARKe is eco-friendly, plug-and-play, and compact enough for office and classroom environments.
ARKe full-color 3D printing technology
This 3D printer uses Selective Deposition Lamination (SDL) technology, which works with a roll of paper as its base material. The 3D printer’s inkjet print head colors the paper. The ARKe then cuts the paper into specific shapes and glues the sheets of paper together layer after layer.
According to Mcor, the ARKe generates “what-you-see-is-what-you-get” (WYSIWYG) colors. This is thanks to its ICC (International Color Consortium) color mapping, for accurate and photorealistic 3D prints.
