Description
The MAMA-1700 is an industrial FGF&FFF (pellets & filament) 3D printer produced by Modix, a 3D printer manufacturer based in Israel. The MAMA offers a huge build volume of 1,700 x 1,000 x 1,000 mm.
Other sizes are available too, starting from 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm. The printer is aimed at both prototyping and production applications in a range of industries (automobile, boating, aviation, etc). It\’s capable of printing several kilograms of material per hour thanks to its high-speed pellet extruder and high-speed filament extruder.
The MAMA (Modular Additive Manufacturing Assembler), like most Modix 3D printers, is delivered as a kit to be assembled by the user. This helps bring down the printer\’s price and keep it affordable for SME\’s.
Modix Modular offerings include several add-ons such as: IDEX; a dual print head configuration with filament or pellet, air filtering, pellets dryer, mixer and more.
