Renishaw AM250 review

The Renishaw AM250 is an industrial 3D printer made by Renishaw, a manufacturer based in UK.

The Renishaw AM250 industrial 3D printer uses the Selective Laser Melting (SLM) 3D printing technology. The SLM technology melts and fuses metallic powders with a powerful laser beam. Once a layer of solid metal is created, the tray holding the 3D print is lowered and powder is layered on top. The sintering with the laser resumes for a new layer. Layer after layer the object is 3D printed, until completion.

The Renishaw AM250 is designed for the production of medium size components with high precision and surface quality. This 3D printer is compatible with Inconel, Stainless Steel, Cobalt Chrome, Aluminum and Titanium.
