3DGENCE INDUSTRY F420: next-generation industrial 3D printer

3DGence unveils its newest high-temperature printer, the INDUSTRY F420

3DGence will be presenting its brand new high-performance FFF 3D printer, the INDUSTRY F420, at Formnext 2019.

With the F420, the Polish manufacturer is expanding its high-temperature INDUSTRY line, which has already gained traction with the F340.
While keeping versatility at the heart of their concern, 3DGence– with the F420‘s enhanced printing speed, build volume, and chamber temperature– aims to set a new standard for industrial 3D printing solutions in order to meet growing expectations in the professional market.

“This high-performance 3D printer is designed for demanding engineering applications. The development of this project was based on the insights of our clients and our new cutting edge technology,” explains Mateusz Sidorowicz, Marketing Director at 3DGence.

A versatile 3D printer

F420 key characteristics

Fast, powerful, with a large build volume:
the INDUSTRY F420 is a versatile 3D printer

The 3DGence INDUSTRY F420 is capable of printing a wide range of high-performance materials, from ULTEM™ to PEEK filaments. With its quick-change modular printing system, 3DGence claims that the F420 is the most versatile industrial FFF 3D printer on the market. Three modules will be available:

  • M280: able to reach 280°C and suited to print PLA, ABS, ASA, PA6/69
  • M360: able to reach reach 360°C and suited to print PC and ULTEM
  • M500: able to reach reach 500°C and suited to print PEEK

The efficient interchangeability of the printing modules with predefined profiles enables professionals to easily produce a wide range of end-use parts and final prototypes. 3DGence’s comprehensive selection of engineering-grade materials will be continuously expanded after the machine’s release, catering to a growing number of applications.

Bigger, faster, better

With an announced 1 m/s travel speed and 400 mm/s printing speed, the F420 was designed to be efficient. It “pushes the boundaries of printing speed for industrial 3D printers,” says Remigiusz Synowiec, Product Manager at 3DGence, making it “a perfect choice if you want to cut manufacturing costs and print spare parts to dramatically reduce downtimes.”

In addition, the INDUSTRY F420 has one of the best build-volume-to-price ratios on the market. Its large (380 x 380 x 420 mm) print chamber enables printing large models or producing multiple parts in one run.

To further improve the 3D printing process, the F420 has been equipped with a powerful heated printing chamber able to reach up to 180°C, maintaining dimensional stability.

An upgraded slicer to improve workflow

Furthermore, 3DGence has carried out a major overhaul of their industrial slicing software. Through its intuitive interface, 3DGence SLICER 4.0 enables quick access to selected print settings and, most importantly, a wide choice of thoroughly tested and engineered pre-defined material profiles that significantly simplify the process and ensure successful prints.

With the INDUSTRY F420, users will also be provided with access to 3DGence CLOUD Solution options. Krzysztof Wilk, R&D Director at 3DGence, explains the improvements:
For the first time we present an online platform for 3D printing management that allows users overview the 3D printing process, including running and queuing print-jobs, schedule maintenance, and administration tools for different employees. Everything that the operator needs is internet access”.
