byFlow Focus overview
The byFlow Focus is a multi-material 3D printer made by byFlow, a manufacturer from the Netherlands. The Focus allows both for edible 3D printing – with all kinds of paste-type ingredients – and for plastic 3D printing. This is possible thanks to this 3D printer’s swappable printheads.
However, this food 3D printer mostly targets professionals in the bakery industry. The Focus works with refillable cartridges containing any sort of paste-type food to create customized meals. Users also have access to downloadable recipes on the manufacturer’s website, and have the possibility to view them on the 3D printer’s touchscreen.
Different nozzle sizes are available, ranging from 0.3 mm to 1.60 mm.
