RapidShape D40 review

The RapidShape D40 is a professional 3D printer made by RapidShape, a manufacturer based in Germany.

The RapidShape D40 uses a Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, a process similar to Stereolithography (SLA). A HD resolution DLP projector, using a LED light source, photo cures liquid resin layer after layer to build a 3D part or object.

The liquid resins provided by RapidShape can be of different colors and physical properties. They can be specialized either for jewellery, hearing aid, dental or general 3D printing applications markets.
