Photocentric Liquid Crystal Maximus overview
The Photocentric Liquid Crystal Maximus is a professional resin 3D printer by Photocentric, a manufacturer from the UK. Professional applications include production series as well as prototyping large parts.
The Photocentric Liquid Crystal Maximus (or LC Max) features a large build volume for a resin 3D printer. Indeed, the LC Maximus is able to 3D print objects of up to 700mm high.
The Liquid Crystal Maximus uses DPP (similar to DLP) technology with a 4K 40″ LCD screen to 3D print specially-formulated Daylight polymer resin. This proprietary resin is available at £45 per kilogram in 6 different colors.
It takes around 15 seconds per layer (exposure time) to cure the resin.
