Zaxe X1 review
The Zaxe X1 is a desktop 3D printer made by Zaxe, a manufacturer based in Turkey. The X1 and X1 Plus are the manufacturer’s first 3D printers.
The X1 and X1 Plus’ particularity strongly lies in their closed frame, which comes in one solid and compact block. These 2 plug-and-play 3D printers are available in black or red color and come with a 2-year warranty.
Both Zaxe 3D printers also have access to the Zaxe cloud network. Therefore, users can benefit from this interface and launch 3D prints remotely. In addition to that, the Zaxe X1 and X1 Plus also boast internal memory to store 3D models.
X1 vs. X1 Plus
Compared to the X1, the X1 Plus boasts a larger build volume of 300 x 300 x 300mm. The X1 version provides a 200 x 200 x 210mm build area.
Furthermore, the Zaxe X1 Plus comes with interchangeable nozzles, enabling users to 3D print with different layer thicknesses. Therefore, the layer thickness can range from 0.05 to 0.8mm, to focus either on precision or on speed. In comparison, the X1’s maximum nozzle diameter is 0.4mm.
