InssTek MX-Mini review

The InssTek MX-Mini is a desktop metal 3D printer for professionals made by InssTek, a manufacturer from South Korea. This metal 3D printer uses DMT (Direct Metal Tooling) technology, which is similar to the Direct Energy Deposition 3D printing technique.

This technology uses a 300W laser within a build volume of 200 x 200 x 200 mm. An optional laser power of 500W is also available.

MX-Mini main features

  • 5-axis motion: for more 3D printing precision.
  • Multi-material: this 3D printer is able to 3D print two different powders at a time.
  • Touch panel: provides a more intuitive user experience.
