ZEISS T-SCAN CS overview
The ZEISS T-SCAN CS is a professional 3D scanner system made by ZEISS, a manufacturer based in Germany. In 2015 ZEISS Industrial Metrology acquired a majority interest in Steinbichler Optotechnik GmbH.
The ZEISS T-SCAN CS is dedicated to 3D scanning volumes up to 5 cubic meters. The ZEISS T-SCAN CS is used with additional sensors. Due to its high flexibility, the handheld laser scanner can be used for various applications like reverse engineering, rapid manufacturing or quality control.
The ZEISS T-TRACK CS+ is used as a master tracker and made to connect and track either the T-SCAN module and/or the T-POINT module. T-SCAN is based on infra-red tracking while the T-POINT requires contact with the object being 3D scanned.
