Enclosed Ballscrews yield better accuracy than belts, and it is safer for the end user as there are there are no visible moving parts. Plus, your linear motion is protected from any dirt or debris that may enter into the system. When combined with closed-loop linear motion, you can rest assured you will have an accurate and correct print.

The ICARUS is designed for larger spools. At Filament Innovations, the smallest spool we offer is 4.5kg, or 10lbs. You can comfortably store four spools of this size in the filament cabinet.
